As an AI Coding Tutor, you will be responsible for generating consistently high-quality and accurately labeled data through various methods to facilitate the training of NLP algorithms. Collaborating closely with the technical staff, you will create datasets for model training, benchmarking, and overall advancement. You will play a crucial role in the improvement of our products and services by ensuring high-quality and accurately labeled data.

Responsibilities

  • AI model training initiatives by curating code examples, offering precise solutions, and meticulous corrections in Python, Rust, JavaScript, C / C++, Java, Go.
  • Evaluate and refine AI-generated code, ensuring it adheres to industry standards for efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
  • Produce detailed documentation that simplifies advanced coding techniques for AI training
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance AI-driven coding solutions, ensuring they meet enterprise-level quality and performance benchmarks.

Basic Qualifications

  • Advanced proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge in at least one of Python, Rust, JavaScript, C / C++, Java, Go, with a solid foundation in software development practices.
  • A minimum of 2 years of hands-on industry experience with a proven track record in software development.
  • Extensive experience with a wide array of tools and systems such as Databases, SQL, Kubernetes, Spark, Kafka, gRPC, and AWS.
  • Strong grasp of system fundamentals, including threads versus processes, multiprocessing versus concurrency, etc.
  • Proficiency in shell scripting with terminal tools such as bash, zsh, and environment variable management.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • A high reputation on platforms like StackOverflow
  • Evidence of meaningful contributions to open source projects
  • Evidence of strong performance in programming competitions, eg. a high rating on Codeforces, or success in the ICPC
  • The ideal candidate for this role is adaptable, possesses strong logical reasoning skills applicable to various scenarios, is detail-oriented, has experience with computers and software, and thrives in a fast-paced work environment.

Additional Requirements

  • Available to work evenings and weekends, as the schedule varies depending on team operational needs; flexibility is required
  • Demonstrates a strong capacity to quickly adapt by learning new skills and unlearning outdated ones, thriving in dynamic and changing environments

Location and Hourly Expectations

This position offers the flexibility of being either remote or in-office:

  • Remote Work: Must maintain a productive workspace and be available for virtual collaboration during work hours.
  • In-Office Work: Regular attendance is expected for team synergy and direct interaction.
