As a core member of the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team, the Senior Financial Analyst will help drive our understanding of financial levers and opportunities throughout WHOOP’s business. They will develop financial plans, projections, and analysis to both support and further our key operating and strategic decisions. This role will have direct exposure to leadership, including those on the executive team, serving as a trusted thought-partner.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a finance partner for several business owners across WHOOP Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Hardware teams, becoming a subject matter expert.
- Key contributor to the company’s business model and forecasting processes, with an emphasis on inventory and production planning. Recommend and implement improvements that strengthen learnings, accuracy and alignment.
- Advance the understanding of WHOOP KPIs and financial levers to drive further accountability and focus within the organization.
- Evaluate unique business opportunities and potential efficiencies, providing actionable insights to help inform decision-making.
- Work across the broader Finance team (Analytics, Strategic Finance, Accounting, Business Systems) to promote the alignment of our metrics, models and processes. Identify, design and develop enhancements as needed.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for management, investors, and the Board of Directors. Active participation in month close and BvA processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Business, Finance or Supply Chain.
- 3+ years of progressive financial experience in FP&A, investment banking, venture capital, private equity and/or inventory planning. Startup experience is a plus.
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel is a must. Familiarity with SQL and/or other data systems is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills, fluency in performing rigorous financial, valuation and broad quantitative analyses.
- Highly organized and strategically focused with strong attention to detail and sound business judgment.
- Strong, unbiased and honest communicator. Ability to distill and articulate complex data in a clear way that can drive business decisions.

This role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA. The successful candidate must be prepared to relocate if necessary to work out of the Boston, MA office.
