Position Summary: Terray Therapeutics is seeking a research associate for our screening team. The research associate will primarily be responsible for screening protein targets against our small molecule microarrays. This work will include preparing buffers, proteins handling and QC, running proteins across the arrays through fluidics systems, imaging the arrays on the microscope between protein binds, image data QC, data analysis and other tasks as needed. The focus of this position is the screening of proteins on Terray’s proprietary spatially encoded ultra-dense microarrays. The candidate will work in the biology team dedicated to screening and biology assays. The candidate will report to the leader of the screening team.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or related disciplines
  • Excellent attention to details.
  • Ability to multitask, identify and solve problems.
  • Skill in organizing and maintaining up to date, accurate electronic notebooks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to record, interpret, and report results with clarity.
  • Desire to be a team player in a cross-functional environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a wet lab.
  • Experience working with proteins.
  • Experience in microscopy.
