Overview

As a key member of the People Operations HCM Technology team, the Sr. HRIS, Configuration, Integration & Security Specialist plays a pivotal role in executing the global strategy, design, deployment, and management of the HR Technology portfolio. Operating with a high degree of independence, this specialist serves as the Workday Subject Matter Expert (SME) with hands-on technical expertise, helping lead the execution of a technology roadmap that aligns with the strategic and operational needs of HR and the business. Beyond conventional HRIS responsibilities, this role integrates elements from diverse realms, such as Java Programming, XML, REST/API web services, application security, and system analysis, showcasing an analytical and operations-minded approach.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Execute the strategy for all HRIS-related initiatives and priorities.

  • Lead and manage complex HRIS projects in alignment with the strategic goals of the People & Experience organization.

  • Own and lead regression test plans for various modules, including core HCM, Recruiting, Onboarding, Time & Attendance, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Workforce/Headcount Planning, Integrations, and Security.

  • Research and provide recommendations on new technologies to enhance service center effectiveness and customer experience.

  • Design and maintain security matrices for Workday HCM.

  • Write code to integrate and support REST/API Web services using Eclipse Platform - Java Programming language and XML programming language.

  • Write code for custom Workday reports using BIRT Studio - Java Programming language

  • Collaborate with leaders to understand business requirements and needs.

  • Implement and support all vendor interfaces with Workday, such as Benefits, 401k, GL (NetSuite), I9/E-Verify, Background/Drug Screening, Commuter, Slack, JIRA, OKTA, and custom solutions.

  • Contribute to the creation of HCM training materials for high adoption rates.

  • Support and maintain the existing HR Technology landscape, including BambooHR, Greenhouse, and Lattice.

  • Collaborate on special projects as assigned.

  • Perform other HR-related duties as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Technology Management, or a related area of study.

  • Minimum of 6-8 years of technical work experience in enterprise HCM products such as Workday, PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP, Ceridian Dayforce, and ADP Enterprise/Streamline.

  • Minimum of 6-8 years of experience writing code in JAVA and XML programming languages.

  • Minimum of 6-8 years of experience working with REST/SOAP API web services.

  • Functional/Technical Knowledge in HR, Recruiting, Onboarding, Time & Attendance, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Reporting, Workforce/Headcount planning, and Security.

  • Ability to handle stressful issues and interface with all levels of the business in a courteous and professional manner.

  • Self-driven, with a sense of ownership of work product and accountability.

  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to work independently.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and to exercise discretion and professionalism with sensitive information.

  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced organization and handle multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one major HCM technology global rollout, configurations of various modules to leading all integrations and security within Workday HCM technology.

  • Workday HCM certified.

Salary Disclosure:

Base salary range: $130,000-150,000

This represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on factors including geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other job related factors. Socure's compensation and rewards package for full time roles includes a market competitive salary, equity, comprehensive benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans or an annual discretionary performance bonus.
