Replicated’s Customer Reliability Engineering (CRE) team of senior level engineers help our customers run and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters and applications on Linux. The team spends their days working with a variety of customer environments large and small, with diverse and complex needs. They understand Linux and Kubernetes at a deep level, and understand the Replicated product set down to the code. We’re looking to add to our CRE team with an open role in India!

This role calls for someone to work with customers daily, helping them integrate their applications into Relicated’s features, and working with support issues from new and existing customers alike. They work with peers across the Replicated product line on a daily basis and contribute to those products regularly. Our entire engineering team is heavily involved in providing the best support experience to our customers, and everyone in engineering engages directly with customers.

We pair programming expertise with operational knowledge to help scale best practices through tooling used by us and our vendors.

This role will be based in India.

What you'll be doing:

• Work with our end users to remediate failures and find ways to prevent those failures from happening again. These issues can be Kubernetes problems, Replicated product issues, and everything in between.

• Participate in helping customers get started with the Replicated product(s), assisting them along their journey to success.

• Supporting customers in multiple ways: interacting via writing, video calls, contributing to documentation and community resources.

• Proposing changes to the product that contribute to the prevention of recurrence of support issues, including bugs, documentation, and features.

What you bring to the role:

These are hard requirements for candidates to ensure you are able to best onboard and make an impact.:

• Advanced experience with Linux system administration

• Hands-on experience with deploying Kubernetes

• Experience with Helm and other CNCF tools

• Some programming experience

Note: This role does include some on-call support coverage. While we do our best to optimize for timezones and working hours, our team is still small and we want to make sure we are available for our customers when they need us.

In India, the salary range for this role is as follows:

Customer Reliability Engineer : 29,70,000 - 34,00,000 INR
