Recursion is looking to hire an Executive Business Partner to primarily support our Chief Operating Officer and President and other Vice Presidents. The work that we do here is complex and this role is no different. On any given day, you will perform calendar mastery, work travel miracles, always think two steps ahead, and provide support for leaders who are fiercely committed to patients, employees, and seeing the company thrive. In addition to these attributes, we are looking to hire an Executive Business Partner who can work autonomously, knows how and when to inform, scrutinizes even the smallest of details, anticipates needs, and is astutely decisive.

The Impact You’ll Make

  • Create and maintain the daily workflow of the executive and other business leaders through proactive planning and execution of administrative support to ensure a seamless experience for leadership and their respective teams.
  • Partner with leadership and act as a project manager, sounding board, and trusted thought partner to the Executive you support.
  • Organize calendars, meetings, events, and activities. Ensure leaders have necessary materials in advance of committee meetings and interviews.
  • Coordinate commercial, domestic and international travel arrangements.
  • Help with department and company-wide events and activities.
  • Maintain and track expense reporting and reimbursements in partnership with accounting.

As an EBP, you will support your assigned leader directly, but also provide assistance across the company to maximize the team’s efficiency and productivity. In addition, your role and responsibilities may extend beyond administrative tasks as your relationship and rapport deepens with leader(s) you support.

The Team You’ll Join

You will be joining the Administrative Support team at Recursion, which is currently a team of 8+ Executive Business Partners working with C-level executives across the company. The Admin team is responsible for enabling our senior leadership team members to do their best work and focus on company objectives and priorities, unlocking greater success for Recursion as a whole. It is a supportive and scrappy group that works as a team first and foremost. We have varied experiences that lend light and skills to our job.

You will report to the Executive Business Partner Manager while directly supporting your assigned Executive.

This position is based at our headquarters in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The Experience You’ll Need

  • 5-7 years of experience as an assistant; minimum of 4 years of assisting at C-suite level. Prior experience supporting a COO is preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent organizational, troubleshooting, project management and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail, no margin for error and ability to multitask
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills and ability to balance multiple priorities
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing needs in real time, ability to prioritize work and deliver projects completed and on time while facing multiple distractions and interruptions
  • Highly organized and strong command for both the fine details and the big picture, keeping priorities in constant shuffle
  • Discretion, as this role may handle extremely confidential information
  • Experience with G-Suite and Slack (strongly preferred)

  • Regular 1:1s with supervisor for support, feedback, and growth opportunities
  • Support to attend conferences and/or membership in professional organizations upon request

At Recursion, we believe that every employee should be compensated fairly. Based on the skill and level of experience required for this role, the estimated current annual base range for this role is:

  • Developing: $126,000
  • Skilled: $139,000
  • Expert: $154,000

You will also be eligible for bonuses and equity compensation + our comprehensive benefits package for United States based candidates. The range displayed on each job posting reflects target ranges for US new hire salaries and is determined by job, level, and market factors.
