About the Role:

NewtonX is looking to hire a Sales Chief of Staff to support our rapid growth, and connect NewtonX clients to world-leading professionals. We are a post-Series B startup with $32M in funding and expanding our team rapidly. We are looking for motivated people who are excited by the idea of making a difference in the knowledge market. This role is a great entry point into future opportunities at our quickly growing company and provides a great general business toolkit.

The Chief of Staff role works with world class companies and clients, including multiple Fortune 500 companies as well as top tech and management consulting companies, to understand their needs and deliver high impact research projects to help them uncover insights to answer their toughest business questions.

Location:

  • Remote, New York City

In this role you will:

  • Disrupt expert research the way Uber disrupted the taxi industry, the way AirBnB... - you know what we mean

  • Work with sales and marketing leadership to optimize all of our growth functions through strategic analysis

  • Independently lead projects focused on optimizing top line growth across

  • Work with sales to increase operational efficiency

  • Be a thought leader in the development and execution of new programs across sales

  • Assist in the creation and implementation of growth initiatives and sales teams

  • Facilitate connections between clients and experts through our marketplace

  • Prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment with clients and experts covering all imaginable sectors of expertise, geographies etc.

  • Learn new things, mentor and share knowledge with team members.

Ultimately, you will be driving the core value of the company: connecting experts to clients. This foundational role will enable you to progress quickly within NewtonX towards commercial and operational leadership.

Who you are:

  • 2+ years of management consulting experience at a top tier firm

  • Analytical superstar with experience handling large data heavy projects

  • You excel at working through large problems independently and seeing them through from strategic ideation to execution. Problem solving is your M.O.

  • You have a passion for startup sales and growth. Experience in sales and/or marketing is a big plus

  • You enjoy work independently and efficiently with minimal direction and under pressure

  • You excel at working with senior leadership both internally and with clients

  • You thrive presenting in high stakes situations to C-level audiences

  • You enjoy learning (you will learn about topics as broad as AI and as narrow as IoT in retail in Thailand)

  • You think on your feet. When things change, you roll with the punches (no day is the same!)

  • You enjoy team collaboration, communication, listening and advocating

  • You communicate clearly, write well, succinctly and effectively your thoughts

  • Valid US work authorization required
