About the Role:

The Survey Design Engineer is a core part of our Survey Design team and helps to develop customized survey solutions for our clients whilst building and embedding a more structured approach to enable survey engineering/development to be more automated, scalable, and robust. We’re looking for both an executor, builder and strategic thinker who’s not afraid to dive in and roll up their sleeves, but also build best practice engineering/development approaches to the Survey Design team. This opportunity also has a clear path to a management role for top performers.

In this role you will:

  • Develop and code customized client surveys and execute end-to-end survey processes (setup, design, coding, testing and quality assurance, reclassification, troubleshooting)

  • Build survey automation capabilities (e.g., question ingestion, logic and QA testing, randomizer)

  • Develop proprietary libraries and API’s to send/receive data and enable more repeatable, efficient, and scalable survey development

  • Improve and implement scalable, standardized and efficient survey development processes

  • Develop appropriate documentation and training to support survey processes and best practices

  • Work closely with Client Delivery teams to determine client survey needs and design best practices to deliver on end-to-end client survey projects

Who you are:

  • At least a minimum of 2-3+ years of experience as an engineer or developer

  • Strong experience with Python, Javascript

  • MUST HAVE experience with survey technologies Decipher / Forsta Surveys

  • Experience developing API’s a plus

  • Highly organized and process-driven and not afraid to re-define legacy processes or ineffective methods

  • Scrappy, creative problem-solver

  • A hard-worker who understands the efforts required to change an established industry

  • Self-driven, results oriented, passionate, and energetic
