Team Overview
As an SDR, Team Lead, you will be the consummate player/coach both leading in the trenches by example and helping to develop the skills/abilities of your colleagues in the business unit you are assigned with 80% of your time spent crushing quota and 20% of your time helping others to crush quota. You will work directly with the Manager of Sales Development in your business unit on tactical coaching/development plans to ensure the performance of all Sales Development Representatives. Additionally, you will work with your Sales Development Manager to prioritize your efforts against PowerSchool’s key objectives and go to market messaging. You will be responsible for managing prebuilt personalized reports and communicating to your manager the progress against your efforts. You will also be a key contributor on the cadence strategy and messaging deployed by your business unit. Team Leads are distinguished by taking on additional project-specific job duties which can include, but is not limited to, mentoring new Sales Development Representatives, cross-sharing best practices across the broader Sales Team and working within territories that require an extra level of expertise.

- Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects
- Sourcing prospects, developing opportunities and selling to a group of accounts
- Building new opportunities through self-sourced outbound prospecting activities
- Develop a strong understanding of our prospects needs through solution selling techniques
- Develop an understanding of PowerSchool’s buyer personas to inform your prospecting efforts
- Create personalized/customized cadence content to generate new opportunities for both yourself and the team
- Proficiency in report running as it relates to building cadences and targeted outreach
- Proactively engaging customers and prospects
- Actively Mentor and Develop new and existing Sales Development Representatives at the direction of the Sales Development Manager
- Prepare, plan, execute and document coaching and development plans for the Sales Development Representatives assigned
- Report to Sales Development Manager with weekly, monthly and quarterly results related to the SDR coaching and development plans
- Establish goals and objectives for the team that aligns with the overall roadmap and delivery schedules
- Works to increase team efficiency and effectiveness in order to achieve long term goals
- Ensure accurate contact data for all engaged accounts and opportunities
- Research district initiatives and key points of contact (district/DOEs, strategic plans, social media etc.)
- Other duties as assigned to drive revenue
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years of relevant and related work experience.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent, or equivalent years of relevant work experience.

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $46,800 - $64,900 USD. This compensation range is specific to the United States and it incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; specific geographic location; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
