Overview

We're seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as the Marketing Campaigns Director. In this role, you'll drive the acceleration of demand for PowerSchool's offerings through strategic and effective integrated marketing campaigns. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing lead generation and nurturing programs, as well as Account-Based Marketing (ABM) initiatives across all market segments. You'll play a crucial role in identifying qualified prospects, ensuring PowerSchool meets acquisition, retention, and upsell targets through innovative marketing strategies. From SEO/SEM to email campaigns, webinars, paid digital ads, trade shows, and regional events, you'll lead a variety of initiatives to differentiate PowerSchool in the marketplace and provide exceptional experiences for prospects and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Define, plan and execute integrated demand generation programs including email campaigns, online ads, SEO/SEM, social media, trade shows, webinars, and more for both national and field initiatives
  • Develop measurable demand and ABM programs that drive pipeline and contract value growth
  • Partner with product marketing and sales to create compelling content for outbound programs that solidifies PowerSchool’s leadership position and differentiates us in the marketplace
  • Work very closely with senior marketing and sales leaders to plan promotional activities, and to ensure that leads are appropriately developed and healthy coverage is achieved across all segments
  • Design, implement, forecast, and optimize lead generation programs using our marketing automation platform(s) and technologies
  • Identify key campaign metrics to track program results, measure success, and report metrics to stakeholders across the business while controlling program ROI
  • Create and manage budgets to ensure optimal spend across all demand gen activities
  • Hire and train the team, including developing the training plan, integrate to rest of marketing team, and encouraging use of PowerSchools’ learning resources
  • Represent Revenue Marketing on presentations, SLT meetings, and other cross functional leadership meetings

Qualifications

To be considered for and to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required

Qualifications include:

  • Balance of "Strategic Thinking" and "Getting Things Done"
  • 7-10 years of relevant marketing experience, preferably demand gen
  • 5+ year of supervisory experience preferred
  • Proven track record of success as an industry leader in marketing programs, B2B experience preferred
  • Experience building and developing marketing teams
  • Salesforce CRM, 6sense, and Marketo experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication, project management, and numerical skills
  • Experience working directly with Sales or education industry
  • Strong understanding of ABM and field best practices re: personalization at scale, customer acquisition, lead generation, content, display advertising, email marketing

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $140,000 – $180,000. The compensation range is specific to the United States and incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
