Overview

The Quality Assurance Lead must have experience leading QA efforts for large scale enterprise initiative and must be capable of setting clear guidelines for the QA process, holding teams accountable without deviating from the strategy and guidelines. The successful incumbent will ensure that all project team members and stakeholders understand their roles, responsibilities and expected timing of deliverables. You will hold the business accountable to execute UAT on time, with high participation rate. Additionally, the QA Lead will coach/mentor BAs with user story clarity and the impact on test execution. Experience with streamlining SIT, QA and regression testing activities is required plus you must have experience planning for and orchestrating complex end to end testing that includes integrations with internal and third-party systems.

Responsibilities

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Work closely and collaboratively with business partners, project management and vendor technical delivery teams to understand business requirements.
  • Implement software test methodologies/procedures/tools that provide value to the overall product development lifecycle.
  • Communicate daily/weekly goals and monitor and report progress leveraging Jira.
  • Ensure that team members are working on the appropriate task to achieve goals.
  • Oversee and ensure that escalations of any product issues found during testing are properly communicated and resolved.
  • Own continuous improvement for existing and new test processes and methodologies.
  • Experience in testing ERP applications which includes integrations, data migrations, applications.
  • Create and document test strategies, test plans, execute tests, analyze results, and report problems and anomalies.
  • Facilitate defect resolution calls and defined the processes.
  • Participate in UAT sessions and support defect log documentation.
  • Ensure software testing is done on-time and as planned and notify management about bottlenecks and other issues and risks.
  • Assist Business SME and Business Analysts in the development of UAT test scenarios leveraging SIT test cases.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

To be considered for and to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

Qualifications include:

  • 5-7 years of proven experience as a QA Test Lead in Salesforce implementations, with a deep understanding of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, COQ, Experience Cloud, AR/AP processing and customization capabilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, test management tools, and defect tracking systems.
  • Hands-on experience creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for complex business processes.
  • Familiarity with agile and waterfall development methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, or Service Cloud Consultant are a plus.
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks is advantageous.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
  • Able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Able to accommodate a flexible work schedule

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $155,000 – $167,700. The compensation range is specific to the United States and incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
