Manage a group of engineers

Job Summary:
CoverWallet is seeking an energetic and passionate Software Engineering Manager to join our fast-growing team in Spain.
What you will do here
Manage a group of engineers
Mentor engineers and guide them in their career path
Keep conversations with external partners and customers when necessary
Occasionally, play a scrum master role.
Enable software delivery at the expected velocity of the company in its current phase.
Manage projects delivery by scope, budget, and timeline
Help other leaders/areas to define the roadmap of the project
Identify possible roadblocks
Actively contribute to recruitment activities.
Define metrics to better understand and follow the success/failure or a sprint
Coordinate the different teams to produce deliverables
Monitor and report about projects' progress
Proactively manage changes in project scope and identify impact.
Understand company priorities and advice about projects optimizations and efficiencies
Mentor and promote agile methodologies across teams
Keep conversations with external partners and customers when necessary
Prepare accurate implementation task lists/time estimates and deliver assignments based on requirements
